A few years ago when I first started my website a guy that I used to work near my office came in and suggested that I have polls on my site. Polls? What kind of Polls? He said it didn't matter. People love polls.
I chalked it up to a "guy thing". That and I couldn't figure out how to generate one for my site.
Since then I have become a little more HTML savvy and the internet has exploded with blogs and cool widgets for your blog. I knew that a poll would be a good way to interact with customers. Let's face it, everyone loves to give their opinion. Even shy people don't feel threatened by an anonymous poll right?
So I have taken my friends advice and turns out he isn't the only one that likes the poll idea. Jim Hopkins at USA Today's Small Business Connection also thought it was a great way to interact with customers. Read the article here. Thanks Jim!

The WAHM (Work at Home Mom) Spotlight blog is a blog that only features work at home moms (full or part time). Every Friday a new subject is covered and a handful of designers are spotlighted.
I get a lot of mixed reactions with my assymetrical necklaces. Most of the necklaces I have made for myself lately have been assymetrical and when people stop to admire I either get an "Ooooohhh!" or a "Well, that's interesting (as they squint their eyes and kinda tilt their head)".
As I have said before, my sister groans and rolls her eyes when she sees the assymetrical ones (She needs things to be neat and tidy) and even my husband has given me an "Another assymetrical one?".
That's okay though because there is apparently people like me who appreciate things that are a little different. I just found out that I was a Daily Pick at AZ Central. What did they feature?
