Bizarro Moments

Last night I was in the grocery store and looked up and saw a familiar man.  He saw me at the same time and we both kinda did a double take/recognition.  I had no idea what his name was.  I just knew I had good thoughts of him and I felt like I could picture him in a uniform.  I went through a few aisles racking my brain.  Who was this familiar friendly man? 

Then I realized...he's the Fed Ex guy!  Ha ha ha.  No wonder I had good thoughts of him!  And no wonder he recognized me too!

I sadly have had the same thing happen with Starbuck's baristas.

Today I was at Value Village and I recognized this girl working there and I could not place her. I even remembered her name! She didn't recognize me though. I asked all kinds of questions to try and figure it out. Then as I was leaving (and it was gnawing at me) I asked her if she ever worked at a grocery near where I used to live. She said yes. Mystery solved! I haven't lived there for five years! She looks exactly the same. I hope I do too. lol.

Too bad it wasn't the UPS man they are way cuter than the FedEx men...at least in my town anyway!
But either way they are bringing us good trinkets..so it evens out!
