We're Back!

We had a great trip. Alaska really is beautiful minus the mosquitos (I have about 30 bites). I would move there if I wasn't such a wimp in cold weather.

Having fun in Alaska

The best thing about Alaska is that in the summer it stays late forever. Right now it is 11:00pm and it looks like it is about 8:00pm. It's a good thing I don't live here because I would be up all night.

I have lived in California all my life so it is amazing to me to be driving around and have snow covered mountains as a backdrop. It's gorgeous. Another nice thing? All the space! In the Bay Area every square inch is utilizied with houses or mini malls. Here there are trees everywhere! It is really breathtaking.

I think your body must get used to cold weather too because it's been in the 60's and everyone is wearing t-shirts and shorts where bella and I are wearing long sleeves. They think I am crazy but 60 degrees? That's cold!

And what they say about the mosquitos is true. Those suckers are HUGE! and they are everywhere!

My cousin is trying to talk me into moving here. I don't know..no shopping and freezing cold. I love nature and all but I like to shop and I love the sun! I guess i am just a CA girl at heart.
